What we actually do at the Camden counter
It takes no calls and holds almost no stock. Here is why we keep it open anyway, and what it is genuinely useful for.

The Camden counter takes no telephone calls and holds almost no stock. On paper it is a bad shop.
What it is for is trying things on and handing things back. You can come and put a shirt on without buying it, start a return in about a minute, and collect an order without waiting in for a courier.
That is most of what a shop is for when the catalogue is ten things and the sizes are honest. We would rather run a small counter well than a large room badly.
Once a month, at most
Product photographs are for illustration and colours can vary between screens. Stock and prices can change while an item is in your basket — the price confirmed at checkout is the one that applies, and any delivery charge is worked out there too.
